Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach China Capital Restaurant at (336) 882-8888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is chinacapitalrestaurant.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 661 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in High Point and suggests consistent service.
High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around High Point is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely love this place! General Tso's chicken is always fresh and hot. I always order it to with Shirmp fried rice.

I came here with a friend after work and we both ended up really enjoying it. The food had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and you can tell they don't hold back on the flavors. The spicy beef was probably my favorite, while the dumplings were pretty solid too. Service was friendly, even though it got a little busy during dinner. It took a bit longer for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving something spicy again, its a good spot overall.

Had to go twice to see if it was a fluke..it wasnβt! The teriyaki beef was AMAZING. The Egg rolls were fresh and crispy. The General tso chicken and the sesame chicken were crispy, hot and delicious. My server both times was amazing and attentive. Not overly expensive, I got great value for my money. Will definitely be going back and highly recommended to any and everyone

Called from the Walmart parking lot on N. Main Street and it was ready before I got there. I wasnβt originally planning to get anything but when I arrived it smelled so good I changed my mind. I decided in the garlic chicken βspicyβ but asked for it to be toned down. They were more than happy to accommodate. I paid and say down to text my husband that I would be a few more minutes. Before I could my order was ready. This was on a Friday night at 7:30 pm. The place was full. The food is always fresh and hot. They pack it so that it stays flat and wonβt spill over which is so nice and really appreciated. I canβt tell you how many times food has rolled over on the way home. My plate was super full and it wasnβt even close to half of what I had ordered, my better half was more than happy to finish the rest. He also swears by the hot and sour soup. Thatβs why you see the large order. Yes, thatβs All his!! He says is the BEST there is around. Weβve had the lunch combos and dinner combos as well. I like to try something different each time. I havenβt had anything that I didnβt like yet. They have handicapped parking but parking in general fills up fast.
